Your Gateway to Empowerment and Change
The Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities (BRAVO) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina that’s all about creating opportunities for young people and adults. They focus on knowledge, entrepreneurship, and innovative learning to build a stronger civil society.
What sets BRAVO apart?
Their core values: tolerance, democracy, diversity, openness, and volunteerism.
They believe in making a difference through teamwork—connecting the private, public, and civil sectors for a sustainable future.
Their mission?
Equipping young people with the skills needed to thrive in the 21st century, from innovation to non-formal education and entrepreneurship.
Their team tackles important issues like Human Rights, Gender Equality, Anti-Trafficking, Reproductive Health, Disability Rights, and much more. They also dive into creative fields such as sports, video production, technology, and entrepreneurship. Whether it’s organizing events, supporting startups, fighting corruption, or publishing books and newsletters, they’re all about taking action and driving change.
At BRAVO, they don’t just talk about the future—they help you build it.
Their Focus:
Inclusivity Across All Ages While our primary target group is youth aged 15-35, BRAVO is committed to supporting people of all ages, from 3 to 103. Their work is rooted in international projects across various sectors, always keeping European values and principles in focus. They also place a strong emphasis on helping individuals with fewer opportunities and collaborating with institutions that serve people with disabilities, such as schools for the deaf and blind. Through activities like sign language lessons and sports for people with disabilities, they create chances for participants to learn something new and experience personal growth. Whether they’re coordinating or hosting projects, they aim to bring fresh, meaningful opportunities to everyone involved.
